SAMSARA MOTH

Samsara is the cycle of death and rebirth to which life in the material world is bound. This is a buddhist concept. The moth is often used as a symbol for death. Therefore I have equipped our little friend here with a skull for his body, scythes for antenna and shotgun stocks for feet. While he bears many symbols of death and destruction his wings are freshly born serpents emerging from their eggs to see what life holds. This moth is a reminder that everything is temporary. Nothing lasts forever. Cycles are a part of the universe. Around and around we go.
